Usman was involved in devising product and sales strategies of broadband and convergence products of leading telecom vendors (including Aviat Networks, Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE and Tellabs-Ericsson's Partners) for over 9 years and worked on over 100 business proposals collectively valued at over $2 billion on telecommunication technologies. He has been providing technology consulting for over 14 years and is specialized in IP/MPLS, Transport (SDH, DWDM) and Wireline Access Networks (MSAN, GPON, DSLAM).
Usman led 35 teams consisting of 150+ team members at Aviat Networks on multi-million dollar projects in the world’s toughest country of Afghanistan towards their successful closure including rollout of two new backbones and 3G launch in Kabul and Kandahar region.
Usman also has over a decade long rich experience of designing & planning backbone (DWDM), Long Haul/Metro Junction (SDH), IP/MPLS and Fiber Access (MSAN, GPON, DSLAM) Networks with products from leading vendors. Many future-proof next generation Networks designed by him are currently deployed by leading Tier-1 Telecom operators, serving millions of Customers in Middle east and Africa regions. Usman is the communication network designer of America's first driverless rail. He also designed Pakistan's First GPON based Fiber to the Home network.
